How to Pass Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari Exam
Look, no exam is actually as tough as people think. If you decide that you want to crack this exam, then just start preparing from now.
This exam is of 100 marks, and if you have studied Biology in your 10th and 12th, then it will feel quite easy for you. The competition is same for everyone, and all candidates are preparing in their own way.
But the exam is usually cracked by those who prepare for a long time, follow the syllabus properly, and also study smartly.
Smart study means solving old question papers and understanding what type of questions the examiner is asking and what level they are at. This gives you a clear idea of the exam pattern.
Earlier, exams used to be simple MCQs with one correct answer out of four options. But now the pattern has become more tricky. Sometimes options are like 1 and 2, 2 and 3, 1 and 4, or even “all are correct”. This makes the paper more confusing, so now you cannot just rely on rote learning. You need deep understanding of every topic.
Make proper notes for every topic and revise them regularly. Also, solve old question papers because sometimes 3–5 mark questions come directly from them. It also helps you understand the exam style. Current affairs are also important because questions come from them too.
Many of you may have already given exams before, so you might know this. Those who are giving it for the first time should keep these points in mind.
Do mock tests regularly and revise daily. Without revision, you will forget what you studied earlier. In this exam, try to focus more on the 70-mark section so that even if you struggle in the 30-mark section, you can still score well overall.
Make a proper daily timetable. While studying, stay away from mobile phones. And if you are not sure about a question in the exam, don’t waste too much time—use smart guessing if there is negative marking.
If you keep all these things in mind and stay consistent with your preparation and revision, your hard work will definitely pay off.
