sBI has announced sBI Apprentice vacancies 7150 for 2026 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates whose age is minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2026. who have completed Graduation from a recognized University or Institute, are eligible to apply.

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage mark on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates, 5% relaxation available there on).Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their aggregate marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.
Test of local language
The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
Who Are Not Eligible for SBI Apprentice Recruitment
1-Candidates who have already done Apprenticeship in SBI or any other company earlier, or currently doing apprenticeship training, should not apply.
2-Candidates having 1 year or more job/training experience after graduation are also not eligible.
3-Ex-Servicemen and Disabled Ex-Servicemen are not eligible for this apprentice recruitment, and no reservation is given to them.
How to Pass SBI Apprentice Exam
SBI Apprentice exam is not hard if you study smartly for 1–2 months with daily practice. The paper has 100 questions and time is only 60 minutes, so speed & accuracy both are important.you need to get yourself ready for serious study. You should study around 6 to 8 hours every day and give proper time to all four sections.
This exam is divided into 4 sections .You can prepare all these four sections in the following way
General/Financial Awareness-For this section, prepare Current Affairs of the last 6 months, especially banking news going on currently. Focus on RBI and SBI related updates, Government schemes, and little bit Budget & Economy topics related to banks
General English-for this basic English should be clear and grammar should be good. Questions are usually asked from Sentence Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms & Phrases, Synonyms, Error Detection, Vocabulary, and little bit Comprehension. Regular practice is enough to score good marks.
Quantitative Aptitude-This section contains maths questions like Simplification, Percentage, Profit & Loss, LCM, HCF, Ratio & Proportion, Average, Time & Work, SI & CI etc. Speed matters a lot in this section. Learn shortcut formulas and remember tricks so you can solve questions quickly and easily
Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude-This section is usually easy and scoring if you practice daily. Questions are asked from Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation, Coding-Decoding, Direction Test, Puzzle and similar topics.
For Computer Aptitude, prepare basic topics like Full Forms, MS Word, Excel, Internet, Hardware & Software, Keyboard Shortcuts etc.
Important Tips Before Filling Out the Form
1-Candidates are requested to verify and gather all necessary documents—such as eligibility certificates, proof of identity (ID proof), address details, Aadhaar Card and other basic information.
2-Please keep ready the documents that require scanning for the recruitment form—such as a photograph, signature, ID proof, thumb impression, certificates, etc.
