How to Pass Assistant Loco Pilot Exam

Students who are preparing for RRB ALP should first understand the syllabus properly. It is also important to know the weightage of questions in the exam. In CBT 1, questions are asked from Mathematics, Mental Ability, and General Science. Focus more on the subjects in which you are weak. Many students find Mathematics difficult because Railway asks elementary maths questions that can be a little tricky. But if your concepts are clear and you practice regularly, this section becomes easy.

Topics like Percentage, BODMAS, Profit and Loss, and Age problems should be prepared very well because questions from these topics are often asked in a twisted way. Practice these topics daily. There are many elementary maths books available in the market that can help you practice better.

Mental Ability is easier than Maths, so practice it daily and keep giving mock tests regularly. For General Science, study NCERT books from Class 1 to 10 properly. In the exam, mostly basic questions are asked from this section, although sometimes one or two numerical questions may also come. Also prepare your trade subjects according to the given syllabus topics.

To clear the ALP exam, you need to work very hard because lakhs of students compete for a single post. First, make a proper timetable and give equal time to all subjects. Do not skip any topic. Study previous year questions carefully because they help you understand the exam level and show whether your preparation is going in the right direction.

Keep revising whatever you study daily, otherwise you may forget it later. Always stay positive and avoid negativity. Stay away from unnecessary social media and mobile usage and focus fully on your studies. Keep attempting mock tests, solve previous year questions regularly, and pay special attention to revision.

Study with full dedication and try to clear the concepts of every topic properly. If your concepts are strong, then no matter how difficult the question is in the exam, you will be able to solve it easily.
